We work with you to understand the home environment and lifestyle goals. From there, we’ll identify ways to future-proof your home, from safety improvements to tailored product recommendations—all summarized in a clear, comprehensive assessment report.
You can choose the assessment type that works best for your family: online (a guided survey created by our specialists) or in-person (a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist visiting your home).
In-person assessments are currently available in the Denver/Boulder metro area.

Complete the online survey on your own time from the comfort of your home. It typically take 1-2 hours to complete depending on the size of the home. You can submit any relevant photos or videos.
Our team of CAPS certified professionals will review your information and put together a comprehensive plan based on your specific home and needs.

How long does an assessment take?
You’ll get your personalized report within 5–10 business days after you complete the survey and share photos/videos. We’ll flag quick wins you can do this weekend and bigger projects to plan for.
Is this covered by insurance or Medicare?
In some cases, a home safety assessment may be covered when ordered by a doctor. Policies vary—your report includes language you can share with your provider to check eligibility.
Do you work with immediate needs?
If your parents had surgery or have conditions that require immediate changes to the home we recommend working with their doctor and occupational therapist. They will be best equipped to provide specific guidance based on their individual medical needs.
